Kolindo Bina Nusantara carried out drilling activities at the Suraindo IUP location located at KM 71 Binuang – South Kalimantan, activities which took place from 5 – 27 October 2024 were led by the Head of the Exploration Department of PT. Kolindo Bina Nusantara Mr. Ir. Roestadi.

For the first stage, drilling was carried out at 13 points using a Jacro 175 drilling machine, apart from that, coal samples were also taken from the drill points using a Coring system.

Through this exploration activity, measurable coal deposit results have been obtained that meet expectations both in terms of quality and quantity.

The average coal specifications based on sample results from the SGS Laboratory are Gar 4200 – 4800 or ADB 5100 – 5500 with relatively good Sulfur and Ash content. Mr. Lukman Jafar as Operations Director of PT. Kolindo Bina Nusantara said that this drilling activity is the first step in PT Kolindo Bina Nusantara’s plan to carry out coal production at the Suraindo IUP concession area covering an area of ​​1700 hectares with a monthly production target of 50,000 – 100,000 tons.
